Monterrey, the atmospheric pop disco outfit from Miami, Florida, is Roger del Pino. “Make Me Feel” is the latest release from Elapse, a follow up to Neon.

“Make Me Feel” is the story of a young woman being rehabilitated at a mental institution. We follow her through a music therapy session where it’s revealed that she has completely detached from modern world and reality, at large. A series of flashbacks lead us down a rabbit hole of events that led her to that room. While one might not expect such a ‘feel good’ song to have such a dark outcome, it is a reminder that sometimes feeling good depends on the nature of the individual expressing it. Society paints the elusive good vs. evil battle, but life is not so easy to define. Mental health can take many forms not limited to good.
